We bought this without 'listening' to it because they didn't have a model on the floor and we needed a bisque color. It replaced a 14 yr old refrigerator that was loud. While we like this very much, it does run long and while a bit quieter, it has some very 'new to us' sounds that are taking time to adapt to...my cat especially is not a fan. I would strongly recommend to Whirlpool to put a really big sign on the freezer door when it's shipped so that delivery team knows where the handle gets switched when they install it. Our first delivery team couldn't figure it out and the reported it as 'defective' and left it with us as a 'loaner' until a new one was shipped. That one arrived a month later and the same concern occurred. This team however, discovered that the Whirlpool Logo was in the plug for the handle and switched it for us. We then had issues with the freezer door seal. That required the Warranty Tech service to come and that took 2 visits to get the door correctly mounted so the seal worked properly. I also created 'shelves' by cutting up plastic boxes for the freezer door so we could store food items without them falling out the bottom. That may be something Whirlpool would want to make available for future models.

We purchased this 2 months ago and it's been an interesting journey. I would recommend to Whirlpool that when these are shipped they come with a BIG SIGN that shows where the door handles can be reversed to the other side on the Freezer Door. Our 1st delivery team didn't know the Logo was plugged into the the spot for the handle. They considered it 'defective' and installed it as a 'loaner' and ordered us a new one. We waited another month for the next one. Same situation...these installers figured it out and switched the handle. We still had issues with the freezer door seal and it took 2 visits from the Warranty techs to get that corrected and a bushing had to be added to the door hinge. The Warranty techs were awesome, though, and gave us confidence that if anything further was a problem we had a great company servicing this refrigerator. We got this to replace a 14 yr old refrigerator that was very loud and while this one is much quieter, it still has some 'new to us interesting sounds' as it runs to cool it.

Since day one it is very difficult to set the temperature to keep food safe. The door blemished with what looks like rust stains and they cannot be cleaned away. The fridge makes a loud rattling noise when it turns on, and does this very cycle. Very disappointed with Whuirlpool. Will never buy again.

Just what I wanted, no bells and whistles, proper temp top and bottom. Customer service understands the problems: In this weather, condensation. I have to keep a towel on the back of the top shelf to catch water, which freezes on the towel.. Might be partially due to other problem: the bottom part of the fridge door started coming loose and resisted any fix, and then the whole seal got loose, and then the freezer followed suite. No stress, they™€™ll fix.!

Bought Model WRT519SZDB in December 2018. Maintained coils, stored back of fridge away from wall, etc. Fast forward to March 2024. Freezer stopped working. Had appliance repairperson out and was advised the fix will be $1200 as it is a sealed system issue and leaking freon. They recommended buying a new refrigerator. I expected better from Whirlpool. Time to get a new refrigerator....it's not going to be a Whirlpool.

I bought this over a month ago and have to have service here 3 times already. The first was to address an issue that the refrigerator part would not get cold enough to store food - issue was resolved as it was the door seal. Next two times was because the unit was making wierd noises. the second time the technician informed me I was too sensitive to noise and that new models of refrigerators make differnt noises then the older one. He added more insulation but the noise is still there. On a good note it keeps items at the appropriate temperatures now

Tons of problems not fixed yet both doors be replaced. They were damaged when the fridge raider was delivered. That was over three weeks ago I am still to get the new doors delivered and put on. In the meanwhile, I have ice buildup in my freezer and in my fridge raider, there™€™s all kinds of water dripping down onto my shelves I cannot wait to get this fixed. It™€™s very heartbreaking that you pay all this money for a new appliance and it™€™s just a mess right now.

The delivery went really bad due to 2 delivery persons. knocked ornament off the door knocked a picture off the wall and broke the frame and then tried to get me to sign a waiver of liability form. which we would not. they Maned up and completed the delivery and installation. Freezer door determined to have a manufacturing defect causing heavy frost to accumulate on top edge of door and compartment. Nebraska Furniture Mart is replacing with a new one to be delivered in approximately two weeks. Whether a credit will be issued from NFM for a second plumber visit to attach ice maker water line remains to be seen. Inconvenient, to say the least. Product is situated in a family room bar. Operational noise is a distraction while viewing television. Freezer compartment could use a light.

I bought this product about a month ago. First of all, inside the refrigerator there is not the room that my previous refrigerator had. I love the ice maker that I had installed. I do not like the fact that I have purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart within the last 2 years 4 kitchen appliances. I paid to have them all installed and the previous appliances hauled away. There was not one appliance that NFM was able to install. There was always some complaint about wiring, etc. Of course, when I contacted my plumber they were able to install all of the appliances with little or no problem and all within one-half hour. I think this is a service problem for NFM.

I Purchased this refrigerator that it when it was brought into my house both the freezer door door and refrigerator door were damaged. I bought it from Mannys in Greenfield. They have ordered me two more doors. I™€™m waiting for a call from them to get these doors replaced. In the meanwhile. Is her keeps getting frost up? In the bottom refrigerator. Where the cold air comes out. Keeps dripping water. I called Mannys back and was told. It could be just from the doors not being right. And when the new doors come and get replaced this shouldn™€™t happen anymore. I™€™m hoping this can all get settled soon. I am still waiting to hear. About the doors, and when they will be here and be replaced. It™€™s been a little hard because when you buy a new appliance and spent over 1000 you hope it™€™s OK. Unfortunately that hasn™€™t been the experience for.me I hope it will be soon

This fridge keeps my food cold and my frozen food mostly frozen. The temp is not super stable. It sometimes goes up to 15/20 degrees in the freezer before dropping again back to 0. It can be noisy when it kicks on.

I bought this a couple of years ago and the condenser fan motor has already been replaced. The back wall in the freezer has been getting iced over and stopped freezing my food.. wont go below 25 and the fridge wont get above 46. I am very disappointed in this product. What happened to good products that last. The sad part is.. when my delivery driver dropped this off.. I asked how good were these fridges and he said they are only made to last a couple of years and he was not lying!!!

This is my replacement refrigerator for the same model. My first one was freezing everything in the fridge. A service person from Whirlpool came out and said there was nothing wrong. Best Buy exchanged it for me. This one seemed fine and it does work but after about a month it started making a lot of noise. Lots of noise. I would not recommend this fridge to anyone, especially after my experience with the first one. After the person came out on the first refrigerated and said it was fine when a steak that I had taken out of the freezer 10 days prior was still frozen solid, I don't think I can trust the service people they contract with.

I've had this for a month now and I like the looks of this fridge and the way I can move the shelves. I don't like that the door slams shut if I get out of the way in time. Great looking fridge.

It™€™s a good size and great looking refrigerator but after8 months of usage handle broke down. Otherwise working great.

Not Perfect

The shelves are so deep and low that I have to put my face against the freezer door to reach into the fridge. Also from time to time it emits a sound like a long slow fart.
