Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Great dryer!

This dryer was sold out at my local store and I had to drive across town to get me one and it was worth it. Great features including wrinkles prevent option. Will highly recommend. :-)

Misleading advertisement on their wrinkle preventi

B J C 4/25/2026

Clothes dry good. Unfortunately , the wrinkle prevent as advertised as misleading. It's supposed to turn off the heat and then intermittently , turn back on to move the clothes around to help them prevent wrinkling. I had 2 technicians out and they both came to the same. collusion that the design of the machine does not match the advertisement for wrinkle prevention.. This is what the website on amana.com explains how the wrinkle prevents supposed to work Wrinkle Prevent Option When you can't fold right away, use the Wrinkle Prevent Option. It tumbles clothes intermittently without heat to help prevent creases and crinkles from settling in. This is very misleading because my machine does not do this.

Broken 3/23/2026

We bought this dryer, brought it home and installed it. It did not work. We called an appliance repair company and they told us that igniter was broken. We were referred by the salesman to their repairman. He arrived 5 days later and said he™€™d have to order the part. We received a call the following week which informed us that the part was delayed and we would have to wait. We called the salesman and he told us we could bring it back and choose another one. We did. Can™€™t comment on the Alana as it never worked.

Big door, shallow drum

gloria73 2/23/2026

I got this over a month ago and overall I'm happy with it. My one complaint would be the distance between the bottom of the drum to the opening is too shallow. Every time I open it something falls out onto the floor. The door is also very large which contributes to this problem. My previous dryer never did this. It needs a smaller door and deeper drum.

So far we see this dryer does a very good job. it is much quieter than our old one. We were off to a bad start as the delivery and installation crew came with a shorter hose than was needed so they could not actually connect it, which we paid for.

Surprises

Jettpett 1/9/2026

I bought this appliance because it was a low-tech appliance and hopefully hassle free. But I did not realize it does not have a buzzer at the end of a cycles d I miss a light in the tub when I open the door. It had a funky smell when I finished a load for the first 20 or so loads because it™€™s new? Other than that it does the job.

Efficient

Jojo67 11/21/2025

I really like my gas dryer. In my opinion it is more efficient than electric. I have the new washer that matches it, it has a load sensor and puts water in accordingly. I am not used to that. I like having the water above the clothes line. So im a little dissatisfied with it.

Confusing controls

Anita41 11/4/2025

Pros: quiet Cons: controls are confusing to me. It needs a separate dial for temperature so you can choose low, medium or high. There is no medium. No idea how long any selection might run except for 20-40-60 minutes, but that™€™s only available on high temp. I don™€™t dry much on high. Can you tell my previous dryer was not the sensor type? I don™€™t like it much but it does dry my clothes and it is quiet. One problem is the door is very hard to open and close.

When I needed a dryer, this was the only one on the floor that was available (couldn't wait for 2 months to custom order). Wrong color and VERY basic. But it works like a charm. Dries clothes quickly. Just goes to show you that you don't need 20 settings. And it holds a lot of clothes. Does it's job.

Terrible extended warranty

Tom47 9/3/2025

Bought a gas dryer, took it home and it wasDOA. I had bought the extended warranty so I called to have it repaired. Two days later I received an email stating they couldn't find an authorized service rep. They stated it would be up to me to find a service rep and there would be certain limitations on parts and labor reimbursement. I decided I would fix it myself. Upon dismantling the dryer, I found the door switch plug was not plugged into the switch.
