I bought this freezer in January and already melted all my food because of a bad control and it is no longer available and is still under warranty. Never buy this freezer

We purchased this Amanda Freezer because of the need for a larger freezer in our garage. The freezer is perfect and the sliding baskets on top helps keep everything organized. I also like the light that shows the compressor is running along with the light to show the freezer is on.

This is a standard design chest freezer. The compressor compartment is located on the bottom right side of the freezer. It comes with two baskets that slide across the top of the freezer. It is very lightweight and I was able to transport it in a mini-van, into the house, and down my cellar stars myself. I did receive a small paper type cut from the packing straps as there was no other place to lift the box. Once you remove the straps the box lifts up and all you have to do is remove the bottom piece. The only issue I have found so far is finding baskets that will fit into the freezer. I prefer to use baskets instead of just stacking food into the freezer. I am more organized and able to find things quicker, as well as see when you are getting low on food items.
I give the freezer a 5 Star rating but need to point out I have only had it a few weeks.

We lost our freezer in a flood and this company was kind enough to help us by giving us a discount on this new one. We appreciate their support and this freezer is just right for my husband and I!!

When we needed a larger freezer, with picked this model. It had the perfect combination of size, features and price that made it impossible to pass up.
We've had it a month and are extremely happy we made the choice.
With a name like Amana, how could we go wrong?

I was fortunate to pick up this compact 9 cubic feet freezer a month and half ago when freezers were hard to get. Nice features- two baskets, holds a half a beef and keeps things cold. Loving the convenience of deep freeze with storage space.

Glad I was able to get this freezer when I did because everyone was out of them. So far it has been great, no problems. The only thing is I wished it was made in the USA instead of China.

Brought his a few months ago and have been very happy with the purchase. Using it as a backup to my main freezer and it is installed in the garage. We have had a few weeks of 100 degree heat waves but this freezer has worked flawlessly even though the garage is not air-conditioned. I have an internal thermometer installed and ca say for sure that this unit is working as designed to. Highly recommended!

I bought this right before the pandemic and its come in handy! We have a very large family and try to minimize our trips to the store. It has cut our outings by half. Super cold and has a large amount of space. The baskets and shelf are handy as well!

I bought this about a month ago. It is nearly full. The controls are easy to understand and there is a small led light that lets you know it has power. This will let you know at a glance that your food is safe. The two baskets keep small items near the top and prevents them from being buried. It is a nice looking appliance, small and can be placed anywhere. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Is this freezer a good addition to our household - no its' GREAT! We have always had upright freezers, but this is amazing. The amount of food it holds is as much if not more than an large upright. This freezer has vegetables, meat and homemade ice cream plus breads of all kinds. We have at lease 2-3 months worth of food in here.
The delivery was a dream - truck pulled up to the garage, off loaded on to our cart. Said goodbye to the two young men. We then took it into the garage, took off the top carton and just slid it into place on the step by the inside door. (Realize that this was during the 'stay inside' virus period early on so we were being very cautious as we are in our seventies).
Plug it end and let it cool down for 2 days - went to Costco and loaded our cart with chicken and vegetables. And not been out since then - no need.
Thank you Amada for this great "small" freezer.

I bought this in November and I was replacing one that had broke. My husband and I carried it in and set it up and it was super easy, It has lots of room for a 9.0 cu ft, it also came with 2 trays so that's very nice for small items.

I got this freezer about 2 weeks ago so can't tell you about it's longevity. It is a basic model, nothing fancy. It works well, is quiet, and is the perfect size. It has leveling legs on one end and wheels on the other. It has a nice seal on the lid too. I'm happy with it.
