Hard to see what buttons need to be pressed. one button should be all you need to start. it doesn't completely dry the dishes and way to long in dry mode. the inside needs ti be deeper to hold more dishes. and insulation needs to be wrapped around the machine for both heat and sound dampening.

We had a fancy computerized dishwasher that needed regular repair. We opted for this simple Amana to avoid those issues in the future. It is easy to use and I installed it myself (40 y/o mother of two). The instruction manual was clear and concise.

I have used my new dishwasher three times. It does a fine job.
However, the racks do not accommodate cereal bowls and salad bowels very well. My old Maytag had an area where they would stack and lean a bit, but in the new Amana these bowls take up lots of space and have to be tipped sideways.
Other than that I find the machine works well and is so quiet you will not be able to tell it is running. Good for the price.

This dishwasher is adequate. We needed to replace our old one fast and didn™™t want to spend a lot as we are moving soon. It washes ok, doesn™™t dry as well as I™™d like but is ok it™™s a bit noisy but again it™™s ok. Would not buy again but for what we needed it works.

I bought this dishwasher because it had a tall upper dish rack - and after the reading the reviews -it seemed perfect for what I needed to replace the old one -- and as with the other reviews - it lived up to its good status. Unfortunately, it also lived up to its review of not drying. I went online to see if there was anything else I needed to fix this issue -however, my model doesn't have a fix. So, I just open the door and let them "air dry" for a while before unloading. That's the only negative I can report, because it washes like a champ and is quiet. Superior to my old machine, and it lets me know when it's "clean", so I don't have to wonder!!

I received shipment, had an experienced friend install, but issues with balancing and getting feet to be right height. Love the large top drawer!! Only real issue is with the drying cycle - I have it on high heat, yet the dishes do not get totally dry. That's the extent of my issues - so it's a win in my book.

Hands down the best decision I ever made. Crushed ice is amazing!!! Not only is it the sexiest appliance I own, it™™s efficient too. I™™m two months in and my electric bill is down, and my kitchen looks even more sexier now I™™ve added an AMANA dish washer. I™™ve had nothing but top of the line products fail. And fail and fail. So far, so good- and I couldn™™t be happier with pricing points of both. Feel like I got a steal really. And- install was a steal. Paid for their guys to do it; they did, and fixed a broken water line -I™™m looking forward to my next AMANA appliance purchase. Thank you ™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸™ï¸

This dishwasher came with my new home and even with setting to the highest heat dry setting I still do not get a dry set of dishes. It has a weird smell to it even when I leave it open after each use to ensure it dries out. This is not my first new dishwasher but I would not purchase this on my own.

The only thing is that the drying unit on the dishwasher does not work or something. Of course we put the Jet Dry in it. Just not working. I hand dry my dishes every time. Don't mind doing it just wish I knew why it's not drying my dishes.

I purchased my dishwasher a year and half ago. The dishes got clean, but the dishes remained wet after the entire process. I call the Appliance Mart in Cookeville, Tennessee to repair during an in-home visit. We connected once to store, and I had to cancel the visit. The second time the water was leaking from the hose area. Still the drying process was never repaired. At that time we did not use the Amana much, but now we are using the dishwasher at lot and the drying system needs to work properly. Please contact Appliance Mart Store for service. We do not get any answers, call backs, or answering service pickup. I will not recommend this dishwasher or store purchased from .... to other consumers ... until this Amana drying function is repaired.

I bought my Amana dishwasher in January and within 1 month it stopped working. It has been ridiculous trying to get it repaired. 2 weeks to get repairman scheduled. Bad motor another week to get part. Then reschedule repairman. Another 2 weeks. We will see if they fix it tomorrow.

The Amana dishwasher performs as described. It has few selections for wash cycles but it gets the job done. It is a little louder than expected. It was easy to install, but you will need the installation kit that is sold separately. I would recommend this dishwasher for those not willing to break the bank on an appliance.

Bought brand new dishwasher in December 2021. It was not washing correctly so I called for service under the warranty. Technician came and said I would need someone more specialized to see if problem could be solved. When asked for a technician as advised I was told I would have to buy an extended warranty to get one. I was infuriated and the girl on the phone was quite rude and would not connect me to a higher supervisor. Based on this lack of coverage on a 2 week old appliance I would not recommend any product of Amana because of total lack of backing of their product and their shake down to but an extended warranty.

This is my first experience with a brand new dishwasher and it definitely makes a difference. I had resorted to using dishwashers as drying racks because they never did much to actually clean dishes, but using this one, I have noticed that it does the job and does it well. Don't expect it to clean some burnt on gunk, deep soils still require some soaking and a bit of elbow grease, but anything short of that, it does the trick.

It isn't like the Amana dishwasher I had for 14 years. That one had a plastic tub as this one does also and I never had wet walls when the cycle was finished. Now no matter what options I use or drying agent , I have to open the door for the walls to dry before I empty the dishwasher.
